Recently I've really been trying to perfect the cut crease look. Slowly, but surely, I'm getting there. I really like how these colors made my eyes look almost green in a way, which was so much more apparent in person. The crease was mostly plumage, a looooooot of plumage, and a small amount of a brighter shimmery green from clinique. The lid color is a mixture of a bright, shimmery, iridescent pink from MAC, star violet, and cranberry. To make the look more dramatic, but still soft, I applied a black pencil to my water line, tight line, and very thinly along my upper lash line. Then of course lots and lots of mascara. I kept my cheeks and lips fairly neutral, with only a slight pop of pink on my cheeks, and VOILA!
Tip of the day: keep your cheek color further up, closer to your temples, for a more youthful look. It's like a mini face lift and putting too much color on the apples of your cheeks will age you.
i love this! i can never get a pink tone and black/gray to look good on me!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS GIRL!
ReplyDeleteThe crease color is actually plumage, a dark foresty green. Maybe try a dark shade of a color instead of black or grey to get the same effect.
